The Ronald McDonald House of Houston offers a home away from home for families with children being treated at a Texas Medical Center institution for cancer or other serious illnesses. We also support cancer research and medical treatment at Texas Children's Cancer Center.

Former members of the Rice University Owls Baseball Team, drafted in 2007 by Major League teams, visited Ronald McDonald House recently.

The children had a great time getting baseball tips from the star players, posing for pictures, and playing catch with them. The players also gave away t-shirts and had a t-shirt autograph session with the children.

We thank them for sharing their time with our children and families and look forward to future visits.
